A young child fractured his skull Wednesday evening when a vehicle struck him in the Northwest Side Cragin neighborhood.
The 19-year-old was shot in the right forearm about 12:25 p.m. in the 4800 block of West Diversey, Chicago Police said.
The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
