A man is facing a misdemeanor charge after allegedly lacerating his relative in the neck and face with a broken bottle last week in Garfield Park on the West Side.

Antoine Bryant, 41, was charged with one count of domestic battery, according to Chicago police.

Bryant allegedly hit the relative with a glass bottle about 8 p.m. Friday during an altercation at a home in the 4700 block of West Huron Street, police said.

The man walked to the Pulaski Green Line station for help, and he was taken to Stroger hospital where he was listed in serious condition, police said.

Bryant was taken into custody after the incident, police said.
