A woman was sexually assaulted Saturday in Englewood.

About 12:20 a.m., the 24-year-old was in her home near 58th Street and Union when a 47-year-old man — whom she knew — hit her in the face and assaulted her, Chicago police said. The man then fled the scene.

The woman was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, police said.

Area South detectives are investigating.
