In most incidents, the offender smears feces all over parked cars and, in one incident, over a storefront window, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

Three of the incidents happened June 9, police said. One was in the 700 block of West 30th Street, another in the 3200 block of South Emerald Avenue and again in the 700 block of West 30th Street, police said. The latest incident happened between June 15 and 17 in the 700 block of West 26th Street.

All incidents happened during the early morning hours, police said.

The offender was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, a black baseball cap with an unknown logo, tan pants, white gloves and carrying a brown paper bag police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8382.
