Three apartments were broken into in July and August in the same block in Grand Crossing on the South Side.

The burglaries happened in the 1500 block of East 72nd Street, Chicago police said. In each incident, the burglar got into the apartment through the front door or back window.

The first incident happened in the afternoon on July 25, police said. The other two happened in the morning and late afternoon Aug. 9.

Anyone with information about these burglaries is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
