Two people robbed a store at gunpoint Tuesday in west suburban Montgomery.

Officers were called at 9:15 p.m. for reports of a hold-up at a retail business in the 1300 block of Douglas Road, according to a statement from Montgomery police.

Two males entered the store and ordered two victims to the ground, police said. A robber hit one of the victims in the face, causing minor injuries.

The suspects took an unspecified amount of cash, multiple cellphones and the keys to a victim’s vehicle before leaving the store, police said. They drove away in the stolen vehicle, which was later found abandoned a short distance away.

Both suspects remain at large, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call Commander Liz Palko at 331-212-9054. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000.
