A teenage boy was wounded in a shooting Wednesday in West Rogers Park on the North Side.
The boy, 16, was walking through an alley about 9:35 p.m. in the 2500 block of West Devon Avenue when someone fired shots, striking him in the buttocks, Chicago police said.
The boy was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was in fair condition, police said.
Area Three detectives are investigating.
