A 15-year-old boy was shot in Homan Square on the Northwest Side.

About 2 p.m., officers responded to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn for calls of a 15-year-old boy who had been shot, Chicago police said.

The boy told officers he was driving in the 3200 block of West Roosevelt Road when he was shot in the right leg, police said.

He told officers shots were fired from a green SUV, police said.

Area One detectives are investigating.
