Kanye West has been released from the hospital after checking in a week ago for exhaustion, according to TMZ and People.com.

TMZ says the rapper is now home with wife Kim Kardashian and their two children. “He is home, getting some rest,” a source close to West tells told People magazine.

West, 39, was hospitalized on Nov. 21 for exhaustion and sleep deprivation shortly after he canceled the remaining 21 dates of his Saint Pablo tour, and remained there over the Thanksgiving holiday. Sources close to the rapper insist that he was not committed against his wishes. He spent the Thanksgiving holiday in the hospital after checking in on Nov. 21. His hospitalization followed days of erratic and angry behavior on stage during his concerts.

People.com reports: He feels like he’s under spiritual attack, and has been for a while. It’s not just the big things; it’s smaller, quieter things, internal things. You might think that it’s about Kim’s robbery, and while that didn’t help, that’s not what’s going on here. He’s dealing with a lot more subtle issues, the source tells PEOPLE. His mother died in November, so this time of year always brings him a lot of pain. He keeps that pain internalized, but sometimes will talk about how hard this time of year is for him. He works through the pain every November, the source adds. West’s mother, Donda, who died in November 2007 at the age of 58.

After West suffered some sort of breakdown at his trainer’s house, his doctor called 911, according to E! News, and he was taken to the UCLA Medical Center and put on a psychiatric hold.

His mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, attributed his collapse to “exhaustion” and dehydration, requiring rest.

According to TMZ, Kardashian was with West daily during his hospital stay.

West’s last on-stage rant occurred during a Nov. 19 concert in Sacramento at which he abruptly stopped singing and ripped into everyone and everything from Beyonce, Jay Z and Hillary Clinton to Facebook, Google and Twitter.
