WASHINGTON–Incoming White House Social Secretary Jeremy Bernard was on the job Thursday, St. Patrick’s Day, handling his first event, the White House big reception where the guest list includes Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn and other Irish Americans. Bernard is pictured above with Stacy Koo, Deputy Associate Director in the Social Office. He is in what the East Wing called a “transition week” with Social Secretary Julianna Smoot, leaving to become the Obama 2012 deputy campaign manager.
