Urban Partnership Bank to close, sell South Shore office

SHARE Urban Partnership Bank to close, sell South Shore office

Urban Partnership Bank is selling the one-time movie theater in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood that had served as headquarters for South Shore Bank. The sale will leave Urban Partnership without an office in the neighborhood.

Chief executive William Farrow tells Crain’s Chicago Business that he hopes to re-create a presence in South Shore through the redevelopment of some bank-owned lots on 71st Street.

ShoreBank failed in 2010.
