Man shot in Roseland

A man was shot Saturday afternoon in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 31-year-old man was sitting in a vehicle about 3:15 p.m. near West 100th and South Perry, when someone walked up and opened fire, striking the man in the head, police said.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition had stabilized, police said.

Police said the shooting may be gang-related.
