A 25-year-old man was shot in the foot Saturday afternoon in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The man was walking about 3:25 p.m. in the 1700 block of North Central when someone inside a vehicle fired multiple shots at him, according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where he was in good condition, Chicago police said.

Area North detectives are investigating the shooting. No suspects are in custody, according to police.
