A man was wounded Tuesday evening in a Gage Park neighborhood shooting on the Southwest Side.

The 18-year-old was walking about 5:05 p.m. when someone in a passing vehicle shot him in the arm with a rifle in the 5400 block of South St. Lois, Chicago police said.

He showed up at Holy Cross Hospital, where his condition stabilized.
