Washington Street in west suburban West Chicago is scheduled to close Monday near the Union Pacific tracks for emergency rail repair and grade crossing.

The area will be closed from 9 a.m. Monday through March 20, according to a statement from the city of West Chicago. Traffic will be detoured from Clara Street to Church Street to Wood Street and then back to Washington Street.
