A woman was shot while sitting in a vehicle early Sunday in the West Rogers Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

About 12:30 a.m., the 21-year-old was sitting in the backseat of a vehicle in the 6300 block of North Mozart when a male walked up, pulled out a gun and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

She suffered a graze wound to the abdomen and was taken to Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, police said. Her condition was stabilized.
