You don’t become the NCAA’s fifth all-time leading scorer without making a variety of shots.

Most people picture Doug McDermott knocking down threes, but there’s more to McBuckets’ game than just firing jumpers. He’s been showing it lately with teardrop runners and explosive dunks.

McDermott brought everyone out of their seats last night with a blow-by on the Wizards’ Jared Dudley capped by a ferocious slam over Markieff Morris.

No one was more impressed by McDermott’s dunk than teammate Jimmy Butler who was sitting out with a strained knee.

After the game, Butler commented on the dunk.

Former Bulls great Scottie Pippen also chimed in about McDunk’s fifth slam of the season.

McDermott finished with 14 points and five rebounds in the Bulls’ 109-104 victory over the Wizards.
