A man and woman were pronounced dead, and four other adults were hospitalized in good condition, police said.

Just after 11 p.m., the men, 30 and 32, were on the front porch of a home in the 12200 block of South Morgan Street when two males walked up and opened fire, Chicago police said.
Divers searched the water near 130th Street and Indiana Avenue but were unable to find the car or any occupants, fire officials said. The search was called off overnight.
None of the officers have been placed on administrative desk duty, but that could change pending an internal investigation, according to police spokeswoman Kellie Bartoli.
