SHARE Evan Rachel Wood joins the cast of ‘Dear John Hughes’ Chicago concert event

Evan Rachel Wood (“Thirteen,” “The Wrestler,” “Across the Universe”) is joining the Chicago cast of “For the Record: Dear John Hughes,” replacing Rumer Willis in the role of “Basket Case” for the concert event’s second week of performances.

Wood’s performances will run March 12-15 when Willis leaves the show to join the cast of the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars.” Willis will star March 5-8.

“Dear John Hughes” runs March 5-15 at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place. The concert event showcases the movie soundtracks of Hughes’ iconic films including “Sixteen Candles,” “The Breakfast Club, “Weird Science,” “Pretty In Pink,” “Some Kind of Wonderful” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”
