A 37-year-old man went missing from the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood Sunday on the South Side.

Maurice Thompson was last seen Sunday in the backyard of his home at 78th Street and Stewart Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Thompson is described as a 5-foot-9, 150-pound black man with brown eyes, black hair, a medium complexion and a scar in the middle of his forehead, police said.

Thompson has a cognitive disability, and is frequently seen in the area of 76th Street from State to Halsted, according to police.
