A man was seriously wounded in a shooting Tuesday morning in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

The 33-year-old was sitting in a car in the 3900 block of West Van Buren at 11:55 a.m. when he was approached by two males and one fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot three times in the torso, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.

The suspects ran away after the shooting.
