Man shot in Brighton Park

A man was shot in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side Saturday morning.

The 19-year-old was in the 3300 block of West 38th Street about 5:30 a.m. when a gray SUV pulled up and someone inside shot him twice in the back, police said.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.
