A man was who was shot Saturday evening in the Englewood neighborhood has died.

At 7:23 p.m., the 36-year-old was standing in the street in the 1100 block of West 57th Street, when someone in a dark-colored car fired shots, hitting him in the chest, arm and hip, according to Chicago Police.

Walter McCurry was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital at 3:47 a.m. Sunday, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He lived in the 6300 block of South Morgan.
