A 24-year-old man was shot Sunday evening in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

At 5:48 p.m., he was in the 7200 block of South Green when someone approached him and shot him in the thigh, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
