Four people were killed and at least 13 others were wounded in shootings Tuesday on the South, Southwest and West Sides, police said.

Most recently, a man was found shot to death in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said.

Officers responding about 9:40 p.m. to a call of a person shot in the 3900 block of West 14th Street found the man lying on the ground in an alley, according to Chicago Police. The man, thought to be in his 20s, was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene.

Shortly before 7 p.m., a man was found fatally shot in the Ashburn neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said.

Officers responding to a call of shots fired found the man lying in a yard in the 7900 block of South Kirkland, police said. Neighbors had heard gunfire and called authorities. The man, whose exact age was not known, was shot several times in the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Additional details were not immediately available and the Cook County medical examiner’s office did not provide any information on those fatalities Wednesday morning.

About 15 minutes earlier, a woman shot in the Little Village neighborhood died after she was brought to a hospital in west suburban Oak Park.

Tykina Ali, 20, was brought to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park at 6:44 p.m., authorities said. Investigators learned she had been a passenger in a vehicle in the 2600 block of South Kedzie when someone in another vehicle nearby fired shots, striking her in the head. Ali was then driven to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead, according to police and the medical examiner’s office. She lived in the 1600 block of West Ogden.

Tuesday afternoon, two men were shot, one fatally, in the South Shore neighborhood.

The shooting occurred about 3:20 p.m. in the 7500 block of South Phillips, according to police. Christopher Hibbler, 42, of the 8200 block of South Saginaw, was shot repeatedly in the chest, and was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:40 p.m., authorities said. A 27-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the back, and was taken to Jackson Park Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.

The most recent nonfatal shooting happened about 11:20 p.m. in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. The men, 20 and 31, walked into an apartment in the 4000 block of West Jackson and spoke with a male who was sitting on the couch, who then pulled out a gun and opened fire, police said. The 20-year-old was shot in the buttocks, while the older man suffered a gunshot wound to the right arm. They were both taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized.

About 8:12 p.m., a 22-year-old man was in the 5000 block of West Madison in the West Side Austin neighborhood, when someone walked up and shot him in the chest and leg, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition.

About 10 minutes earlier, a man and woman were in the 8400 block of South Hermitage in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood when they were both shot in the leg, police said. The man, 19, and woman, 26, were each taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where their conditions stabilized.

Shortly before 7 p.m., a 26-year-old man was in the 6500 block of South Wentworth when a vehicle approached and someone inside opened fire, police said. He took himself to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition.

Thirty minutes earlier, a 21-year-old man suffered a graze wound to his leg in the 7100 block of South Damen in West Englewood, police said. He was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where his condition stabilized.

About 5:40 p.m., a 59-year-old man was shot in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side. The man was inside a store in the 2700 block of West 59th Street when he was shot in the hand, police said. He was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition. The shooting may have occurred during a robbery, according to a police source.

About 2:25 p.m., a 22-year-old man suffered at least one gunshot wound in the 4100 block of West Madison in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized.

Tuesday morning in an Austin neighborhood attack, a 42-year-old man was in the 800 block of North Leclaire about 11:40 a.m. when a male wearing all black clothing walked up and fired several shots, according to police. The shooter then ran away. The man was shot in the thigh, and was taken in fair condition to Mount Sinai Hospital. Police said the shooting was thought to be domestic-related.

A man was seriously wounded in a shooting Tuesday morning in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side. The 20-year-old man was riding in a vehicle in the 11800 block of South Indiana about 7:20 a.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, according to police. He was shot in the right arm and chest, and was driven to Roseland Community Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.

Tuesday’s first shooting happened about 5:40 a.m. in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side. A 31-year-old man was standing outside in the 3000 block of West 62nd Street when a red van drove by and someone fired shots, police said. He was shot in the leg and was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where his condition stabilized.
