Chicago Police are warning residents of theft from vehicles on the Near West Side.

At least one person broke into vehicles and took property from inside, according to a community alert from police.

The thefts occurred:

  • between 5 a.m. and 2 a.m. June 6 in the 1300 block of West Jackson;
  • between 7 a.m. and noon June 8 in the 1400 block of West Van Buren;
  • between 5:30 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. June 14 in the 1200 block of West Jackson;
  • and between 6 p.m and 8 a.m. June 19-20 in the 300 block of South Racine.
