David Fales talked to Jay Cutler on the phone Tuesday night and got a scouting report on how Dowell Loggains’ offense compares to the one he ran in the preseason.

Fales, signed off the Ravens practice squad Wednesday, said the Bears offense came back to him quickly.

“I was more familiar I think with this offense than I was with Baltimore,” said Fales, drafted in the sixth round by GM Phil Emery in 2014. “It wasn’t that hard. a lot of it is the same stuff.”

Fales, who will wear Robbie Gould’s old No. 9, said he was happy to return.

“It was unfortunate with the injuries and stuff, but I’m excited, I’m glad to be back,” he said. “I missed the guys missed the coaches. It’s good coming back to a place where I’m familiar with. I’m excited.”
