While Bruce Jenner has denied he’s romantically-involved with ex-wife Kris Jenner’s former best pal Ronda Kamihira, Kris’ appearance on “Today” Monday to promote her new book led to a question about the rumor — and Kris’ response kind of muddied the waters.

“Today” co-host Hoda Kodb brought up the subject and Jenner didn’t deny the rumored romance, but merely said, “I just want him to be happy. I don’t care who he goes out with,” adding “And I don’t know who he’s dating. He doesn’t like check in and give me a play-by-play,” said Jenner.

Considering the famous Kardashian clan “momager” is known to be on top of everything involving her family — including the doings of her ex-husband — that comment raised a lot of eyebrows in Hollywood and stirring a lot of negative, dubious comments on social media.

Going in a very different direction, Kotb also brought up the rumor that Bruce Jenner was “slowly developing into a woman.” That brought a firm answer from Kris: “It’s silly. … They’ve been saying that since the ’70s. You’d think that’d be cooked by now. It just continues.”
