A man was shot on the West Side late Monday morning.

Just before noon, the 20-year-old was shot in the back and arm in the 3100 block of West Fillmore, police News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

Police said the victim has documented gang ties.
