Two men were shot in a drive-by attack in the West Englewood neighborhood on Friday afternoon.

The men, ages 30 and 31, were on the street about 4:40 p.m. in the 5700 block of South Throop when a maroon vehicle pulled up and someone inside opened fire, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.

The men were each shot in the leg and taken to Stroger Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized, Zala said.

Both men have documented gang ties, according to police.
