One man was killed and seven others wounded in shootings across the city Tuesday.

The fatal shooting happened during a home invasion in the 8000 block of South Dante about 1:20 p.m., police said.

Antinino Walker, 28, of the 6500 block of South Champlain was shot multiple times and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:17 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

A 20-year-old man was shot in the arm and taken in good condition to Stroger Hospital, police said. The intended victim, a 24-year-old man, was shot in the neck and taken in good condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.

A 22-year-old man was grazed with a bullet Tuesday night in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

About 10:40 p.m., the man was outside in the 700 block of West 73rd Street when a gray SUV pulled up and a male inside starting shouting gang slogans, police said. The male then got out of the SUV and opened fire.

The 22-year-old was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition with a graze wound to his chin, police said.

About 5:30 p.m., a man was shot and seriously wounded in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 19-year-old was standing on a porch in the 4000 block of West Wilcox when he was shot in the left leg, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.

A 47-year-old man was shot about three hours earlier in the Austin neighborhood.

About 2:10 p.m., the man was outside in the 5400 block of West Madison when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

He was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park with a gunshot wound to his shoulder, police said. He was listed in good condition.

A few hours earlier, a man was shot in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

A 27-year-old man was in the 700 block of South Albany about 12:30 p.m. when he was shot in the leg, police said. He was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital.

Police said the shooting may have been a drive-by.

Tuesday’s first shooting happened in the Southwest Side Gage Park neighborhood.

A 28-year-old woman was on the sidewalk with a male in the 2700 block of West 55th about 12:35 a.m. when two other males approached and fired at her, police said.

She suffered a graze wound to the right ear and was taken by a family member to Holy Cross Hospital, where she was listed in good condition, police said. The shooting may have been gang-related, police said.
