A man who was seriously wounded in a West Side shooting Saturday afternoon may not have been the intended target.

The 46-year-old man was walking in the 1500 block of South Kolin at 4 p.m. when unknown people fired shots in his direction, police said. He was shot in the leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition.

A source said the man may not have been the intended target. Police said a person of interest was being questioned as of 8:30 p.m.
