Muskie fishermen were up to the Challunge on the Chain Saturday.
Sixteen muskie were on the leaderboard, most caught on Lake Marie, in the annual event held by the Fox River Valley chapter of Muskies Inc.; a record 21 overall.

Nick Ellis and Luke Armitage won by catching two muskie of 35 and 45 inches on Phantoms. Seamus Hanley and Bill Ramsey boated three–31.5, 35 and 37–to take second. Ramsey said they were casting Cowgirls and a Bang O twitchbait.
Mark Steuer (photo above), who fished with Greg Denny, caught the big fish, a 47.5-incher,, on a Shallow Raider, good enough for third.
