SHARE Police: Food delivery drivers robbed at gunpoint in Austin

Chicago Police are searching for suspects who are robbing food delivery drivers at gunpoint in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

The suspects, armed with handguns, rob the drivers of their food, cash and cellphones, according to a community alert from Area North detectives.

The robberies happened:

  • the 1000 block of North Leamington at 12:30 a.m. on May 6;
  • in the 4900 block of West Rice Street at 9:25 a.m. on May 14;
  • in the 700 block of North Latrobe at 2:12 a.m. on May 19.
