A man was shot early Saturday in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

About 2:20 a.m., the 27-year-old was walking in the 6200 block of South May when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the left arm, police said.

He took himself to St. Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
