Man shot in Roseland

A man was shot early Sunday in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

About 1:20 a.m., the 47-year-old was walking in the 11100 block of South Eggleston, when he heard shots ring out and realized he’d been struck, police said.

He walked into Roseland Community Hospital with a gunshot wound to the hand, police said. He was listed in good condition.
