Police are asking the public’s help in finding a 76-year-old man with Alzheimer’s disease missing from the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

Clyde Davenport was last seen Friday in the 5700 block of South Damen, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Davenport is described as a 5-foot-9, 190-pound black man with brown eyes, black hair and a medium brown complexion, police said. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a white T-shirt, blue jeans and black gym shoes. He walks with a shuffle.

He has been known to frequent the area near Damen Avenue between 61st and 67th, police said.

Davenport suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and has no identification or money with him, according to police.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Area South Special Victims Unit at (312) 747-8274.
