A woman has been charged with shooting her boyfriend during an argument Thursday night in southwest suburban Stickney.

Dawn McAdams, 51, is charged with domestic battery and reckless conduct after she shot her 64-year-old boyfriend during a domestic dispute about 10 p.m. in the 4800 block of South Latrobe, Cook County sheriff’s office spokeswoman Sophia Ansari said.

The man, who lives in the same block, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Ansari said.

A judge on Saturday ordered her held on a $100,000 bond, according to the sheriff’s office. She is next scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
