A man was shot early Saturday in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The man, 40, was shot in the foot about 1:50 a.m. in the 3900 block of West Monroe, police said.

He took himself to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, according to police.
