A 19-year-old man was injured in a shooting in the North Side Uptown neighborhood late Friday.

About 11:40 p.m., he was sitting in a vehicle parked in an alley near the 4900 block of North Kenmore when a gunman walked up and shot into the car, police said.

He was struck in the head and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition stabilized, police said.
