Two teenage boys were shot Saturday afternoon in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.

The boys, ages 16 and 17, were traveling in a car in the 0-100 block of West Pershingat at 1:49 p.m. when another car pulled up on the driver’s side of the boys’ car and shot at the teens. The suspects then drove off on State Street, police said.

The 17-year-old was shot in the arm and the 16-year-old was shot in the left leg, according to police. They were both taken to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in good condition.
