Two cellphone stores were robbed at gunpoint earlier this month in the Brighton Park and Ashburn neighborhoods on the Southwest and West sides.

One store in the 4600 block of South Kedzie Avenue was robbed at 11 a.m. on Jan. 7 and another store in the 8300 block of South Pulaski Road was robbed at 11 a.m. on Jan. 13, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The robbers entered the stores with a gun and demanded cell phones and money from the register, police said.

The suspects are described as two black males between 16 and 29 years old, standing 5-foot-6 to 6-foot and weighing 150 to 165 pounds, police said.
