A man was seriously wounded in a shooting early Sunday in the Far South Side Rosemoor neighborhood.

The 26-year-old was sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle at 12:40 a.m. in the 100 block of East 100th Place when a male walked up and shot him in the chest, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.
