An 18-year-old man was shot dead Friday evening in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

Seneka Harrison was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the chest in an alley about 5 p.m. in the 4700 block of West Congress, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Harrison, of the 1800 block of South Homan, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:41 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
