2 wounded in Austin shooting

Two people were wounded in an Austin neighborhood shooting early Tuesday on the West Side.

A 20-year-old woman and 21-year-old man were driving at 1:20 a.m. in the 800 block of North Menard when another vehicle pulled up alongside them and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

They both suffered gunshot wounds to the leg and were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said. They were both listed in good condition.
