A 62-year-old woman was struck by a car and critically injured Sunday morning in the North Center neighborhood.

A 25-year-old man was driving a 2010 Hyundai Elantra south in the 3400 block of North Western at 10:18 a.m. when his car skidded into the intersection after the light turned red, according to Chicago Police.
