A 45-year-old man who was reported missing from south suburban Midlothian has been found safe, according to the Cook County sheriff’s office.

James Burian of unincorporated Midlothian went missing Tuesday evening, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office. He had made statements indicating he might try to harm himself .

He was found safe Wednesday morning in Willowbrook by DuPage County Forest Preserve Police and was taken to a hospital for an evaluation, according to the sheriff’s office.
