SHARE Police: Burglars targeting apartments on Beverly block

Police are warning Far South Side residents of a recent string of apartment burglaries occurring on the same block in the Beverly neighborhood.

During daytime work hours, the burglar breaks into apartments on the 10400 block of South Hale by using a pry tool to force open the front door, according to a community alert from Chicago Police. Once inside, the suspect steals various items.

Two burglaries happened on Jan. 29 between 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., police said. Another burglary happened Feb. 12 between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
