A 24-year-old man was shot in the chest Tuesday afternoon in the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

He walked into Swedish Covenant Hospital at 4:08 p.m. after the shooting in the 4900 block of North Harding, according to Chicago Police.

The man was listed in serious condition, police said.

Additional details were not immediately available.
