Man shot in Logan Square

A man was shot Sunday afternoon in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 26-year-old was shot in the back about 4:50 p.m. in the 1700 block of North Kedzie, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
